The Southern Illinois Association of Priests is an organization of active and inactive clergy of the Diocese of Belleville in Southern Illinois. We are committed to these core values:
- Be a voice of hope and joy within our Pilgrim Church
- Cooperate with our bishop in the pastoral care of the People of God in Southern Illinois
- Offer collegial voice and support among clergy and laity throughout the church
- Nourish collaboration among all who minister as Jesus did, especially to the marginalized and brokenhearted
- Promote ecumenism among the Christian Churches, and to cooperate with and promote interfaith dialogue with other faith communities
- Actively seek peace and justice throughout Southern Illinois, with particular concern for the poor and the alienated
